This Japanese house designed by Mizuishi Architects Atelier is large enough for a family of three in a 594-square-foot home on an abnormally shaped property.
The house was constructed on a triangle shaped lot. The price for the lot was affordable, but it had it’s limitations for a building.
Adding three levels of windows gives the illusion of more space using natural lighting.
Could a family really live in a space this narrow?
The loft provides an adorable children’s playroom.
The loft-style vaulted ceilings also make the living area seem much more roomier.
The ground floor consists a bedroom, living area, and kitchen.
The studio style bedroom has 2 beds in an open space, eliminating walls that would make the space seem much smaller.
However, there are divider curtains to allow for some privacy.
There’s plenty of kitchen space.
The amenities and sleek design give it a modern feeling.
With it’s views only feet from the river, I would LOVE to call this place home.
