He Tells 11 Horses To Line Up, Now Watch What The One In The Middle Does…WOW!

The world famous Budweiser Clydesdales came into our homes for the first time nearly 30 years ago. Today, their ads are some of the most highly anticipated. Whether they’re playing football or having a snowball fight, there is LOTS of training that makes these majestic horses so camera-ready.

In the following video, we get a rare, behind-the-scenes look into the work it takes to make these amazing commercials. We also get to meet the man behind the magic — Robin Wiltshire, a world class horse trainer.

Robin and his wife Kate raise their animals on Turtle Ranch in Dubois, Wyoming. For Robin, horse training is not just about trick photograpy or paychecks, it’s a way of life. Robin uses a reward-based system, giving the horses lots of love and praise for all their hard work. He takes his time with the training, he rewards the horses, and he puts precise thoughts behind each and every move. The Clydesdales’ success is from how well they get to know Robin and the fact he helps keep them so calm and eager to please.

After the filming, editing, special effects, and color corrections are completed, watching the finished result is more amazing when you know the animals are treated so kindly by a man who truly loves them.
