Growing up, my grandmother would always encourage me and my sister to get along. She would tell us how blessed we were and how she had always wanted a sister when she was young. I can still hear her saying “friends come and go, but sisters are forever.”
When you’re a kid, all you want is for your siblings to steer clear of your toys and clothes, but now that I’m older, I realize how right my grandmother was. There is something really special about having a sister — just take a look at the beautiful bond these sisters shared.
As you can see in the following video, sisters Mia and Tuva also share something very special. 11-year-old Mia and her big sister, 14-year-old Tuva, are Norway’s version of this “sister act,” and even though English is not their first language, they decided to choose a sweet country tune for their first time ever in a recording studio.
In the following video, Mia and Tuva beautifully perform “I Won’t Let Go” by Rascal Flatts. You’ll just have to see for yourself how amazingly talented these young sisters are, but to me, having this video for the rest of their lives is a great gift for their entire family.
