As of February 20, 2015, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service have put the gray wolves of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Wyoming back on the endangered or threatened species list. These wolves will now be federally protected from hunting and trapping in those areas.
And as amazing and adorable wolves are, they aren’t exactly the type of animal you’d want running up to you. But for this woman, her life and job revolves around the safety of these animals and to watch her be reunited with the pack she helped take care of is truly heartwarming.
